The server seems to have deleted the original.) (Note: This is a repost of original question. Haven't got a clue what the problem could be. I've tried updating this file with 82865/82801 references but no help. I've noted that the MACHINE2.inf file loaded by the Win98SE source CD references older Intel chips and these are appearing in the registry. Under XP it uses IRQ 16 which then remapped I guess. Also, The display adapter is trying to use IRQ 0 which doesn t seem right. Both are trying to use 000C0000 - 000CFFFF and Win98SE will not allow changes to these settings. I downloaded the new Win98SE drivers from Intel but obtain memory conflicts between the Extreme Graphs Display Adapter and the System Board Extension for ACPI Bios. I'm trying to slide-in a new hard drive with Windows 98SE installed which contains valuable programs. The chips work fine when running the Dell OEM Windows XP O.S. I have the Intel 82865G and 82801EB on a Dell MB (Dimension 3000).
